My early days as a press photographer were spent in the east end of London, during this time the photographs l took captured the gritty reality of life in East London during the “Swinging” Sixties. As the images graphically illustrate, widespread poverty, poor housing, industrial unrest, racial tension.  My latest book an EAST END ALBUM was published in June 2014, previous books include LONDON'S EAST END A 60s ALBUM and LONDON'S EAST END THEN & NOW all published by The History Press .
In 1972 I joined The Sun newspaper as a photographer,my assignments ranged from celebrities to fashion, I left the paper in 2006 having served 35 years on the paper. The galleries show a selection of my work during these years.
